Editing the scheduler with the additional 'ShowOrganizer' program

This scheduler was developed so your customers can, if desired, independently modify schedules for their system. To achieve this, you will need to install the optional 'Show Organizer' tool provided by Syncornorm. Once installed, the 'Show Organizer' interface enables both you and your customers to conveniently create, edit, and manage schedules as needed—without requiring specialized technical support.
After launching ShowOrganizer, a hierarchical list of all available daily, weekly, and yearly schedules appears on the left side. This overview lets you easily find and manage the schedule you need. In the center, you'll see a tabbed interface for each type of schedule. Clicking on a specific entry in the list will automatically switch to the matching tab. Of course, you can also select any tab manually if you prefer.
It's also important to note that if a new showfile from Depence is transferred to the server at a later time, the existing schedule may be overwritten. To prevent this, always re-import the current schedule back into the Depence project first.
To create a new plan (Day, Week, Year), focus on the first-level node (Day Plans, Week Plans, or Year Plans) in the left tree view. Then, right-click and select 'Add'.
For daily or weekly plans, enter any desired name. For a yearly plan, enter the corresponding year, for example 2025 or 2028, depending on which year the plan should apply to. If no plan is stored for a current running year, the system will automatically use the last valid yearly plan. Once you’ve created a new plan, simply click it in the tree view. The central section of the editor will automatically switch to the corresponding tab, allowing you to begin making any necessary adjustments right away.
In the Daily Plan view, you can schedule shows (sequences) to start at a specific time. The planner is laid out vertically by hours and horizontally by minutes. Simply drag a show from the sequence list on the right and drop it onto the desired start time. The duration on the schedule is determined by the show’s pre-programmed length. You can reposition any event by dragging it around with your mouse, or remove it entirely by right-clicking and selecting “Delete
You can also configure additional parameters for each show symbol within the Daily Plan. Please refer to the table for more details.
Drawing Color : Defines the display color of the show block in the schedule.
Loops: Sets how many times the show is repeated in succession.
Time between Loops: Specifies the waiting time (in seconds) between consecutive loops.
Tracking: If set to True, tracked tracks won’t be reset at the end of the show.
Hour, Minute, Second: Determines the show’s start time.
To drop a Daily Plan into a Weekly or Yearly Plan, first select the target Weekly or Yearly Plan in the list on the left. Then, left-click and hold on the desired Daily Plan, dragging it over to the Weekly or Yearly Plan. Be careful not to release the mouse button too soon: if you do, the view will switch back to the Daily Plan. By keeping the mouse button pressed, you can successfully drag and drop the Daily Plan into the appropriate schedule.
Export from Depence Export the current schedule from your Depence project. This also includes all sequence information.
Import into ShowOrganizer Go to File > Import Schedule and select the Schedular.xml File
Edit and Extend Modify or add any daily, DayPlan, WeekPlan, YearPlan as desired.
Export from ShowOrganizer Go to File > Export Schedule Important: The vServer and Depence only accept a file named "Schedular.xml". You can rename the file for backup purposesm but the final file must be "Schedular.xml"
Import to the vServer Load the "Schedular.xml" file directly onto the vServer.
Import Back into Depence Optionally, re-import the updated schedule into your Depence project.
Keep Project in Sync Before transfering a new Depence project to the vServer later on, ensure the most recent schedule is allready partof that Depence project. Otherwise, your changes could be overwritten.
