Reduce aliasing artefacts using MFAA

Same as every 3D application also Depence suffers from aliasing artifacts. For more information about Aliasing and why this happens you can read more here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aliasing

While there is no “best” or “right” approach, Depence uses several Anti-aliasing techniques. One is called MSAA (Multi-Sampled-Anti-Aliasing). The latest NVIDIA drivers come with optimization for this technique called MFAA (Multi-Frame Sampled AA). To activate this feature make sure you have the latest NVIDIA drivers installed.

Warning!

On some GPUs, this could cause artifacts in the CAD-QuadView and final renders! We are working on this issue.

  1. Right-click on your desktop and run NVIDIA Control panel

  2. Navigate to the 3D Settings

  3. Enable “Multi-Frame Sampled AA (MFAA)”

  4. Click on Apply and restart the Depence application
